The weather was magic and Peter Pepper shone. Or should that be the other way around?
Either way, we were thrilled to see so many families at the PSA Easter Fun Day on Saturday 19th March.
The entertainment kicked off as our magician produced some brilliant tricks, told some cracking jokes and even pulled a real rabbit out of a hat.
The tuck shop, along with Fergal’s (P3) fabulous cake sale for Sport Relief, provided all the fuel we needed for the all-new Easter Trail that followed. We were trying something different this year, bearing in mind that we had the nursery along for the first time and wanted to make sure everyone had equal chance to win an egg.
So off they went together, young and old hunting high and low around the school grounds in search of hidden letters. To a man, woman and child, they came back with every clue solved, and everyone got a chocolate prize of their choosing.
We had an unprecedented turn out – 120 tickets sold. And we raised over £300 to boot! (Plus £81 for Sport Relief.) Most of all, we had a massive amount of fun. So well done everyone!
