Primary 6 have been working closely with their Primary 1 shared reading partners for several weeks now. As an end of term treat, we got together for a longer session to make some Christmas cards together.
Primary 6 absolutely love working with their shared reading partners and they couldn’t wait to show them how to make lovely reindeer Christmas Cards!
First Primary 6 helped their partners to practice printing their fingerprint using brown paint on a scrap piece of paper. Once their partner was ready they carefully printed their fingerprint on card to make the reindeer’s head. This involved some very careful concentration as you can see from the photos!
Once the brown paint had dried the Primary 1s were able to add the finishing touches of a big red nose, some eyes, some ears and some antlers. The finished product is very cute – don’t you agree?!
